Togouchi 8 Years Old Japanese Blended Whisky (700ml) Volume: 700ml ABV: 40% Age: No Age Statement Country: Japan Chugoku Jozo produce this blended Japanese whisky named Togouchi. This distillery are a little different in their approach to making whisky, instead of maturing their spirit in a warehouse they do so in a tunnel. The name comes from where the tunnel is located, in the town of Togouchi, which merged with two other towns to create a larger town called Akiota. The Togouchi 8 Years Old is a blend of grain spirits that have been matured over eight years in a Togouchi cellar. This Togouchi whisky uses Scottish malt and Canadian grains with blending, ageing and bottling all taking place in Japan. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Sweet floral notes, candy floss, toasted cereals, ripe red fruits and some peat smoke. Palate: Dark red fruits, summer berries, citrus and charred oak. Finish: Dark caramel, fruity with earthy spice.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
