Drawn from a combination of 13 first-fill American oak barrels and 10 Sherry butts, the whisky was all allowed to marry in the eponymous Tun 1509 under the watchful eye of The Balvenie Malt Master David Stewart. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Fresh fruit compote, toffee apples, freshly baked vanilla sponge and  honeycomb. Taste: The palate is sensational, buttery pastry springs to mind followed by vanilla fudge and plenty of malty goodness. Pepper spice, rich dark oak and delicate spices of cinnamon and ginger. Finish: Spices of ginger and black pepper, dark chocolate, a very delightful dram delivering honey and dried fruits.  . For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
