North Start has since bottled a wide variety of both Single Malt and Blended Scotch Whisky including some American whiskies too. The brand is named after the star ‘Polaris’ – the current Northern pole star. The theme of astronomy continues with various releases being named after other stars in the universe including ‘Vega’ and ‘Sirius’. The bottler was awarded ‘Independent Bottler of the Year’ at the Scottish Whisky Awards in 2020.   Ruadh Mhor is the name used by Glenturret for it’s peated whiskies.   This whisky features an aromatic, peaty characteristic. North Star aged this spirit for 7 years, with some time spent finishing in ex-PX barrels for a rich finish. Aged 7 years, 1 of 150 bottles. Bottled at 53.7% abv.. For adults of legal drinking age.
