Categories: Bourbon Barrel, Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Peat Smoke
Volume: 700ml ABV: 43% Age: No Age Statement Country: Scotland A heavily peated Lagavulin finished in ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks, twice! We could continue but that would be worthless. A truly memorable single malt from the Lagavulin distillery. Our Tasting Notes Nose: I’m taking in peat and plenty of iodine. The fruits are complete perfection, splashes of Sherry and fortified wine soaked raisins simmering in an open pot. Palate: Sigh, just perfection. Rich smoke fills the mouth working with the vanilla’s and the Sherry. Little hints of dark chocolate combine well with the raisins and hazelnuts. A little creaminess and toffee sweetness. Finish: A little earthiness, more chocolate and toffee and smooth smoke.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
