They own the Tomintoul and Glencadam distilleries in Scotland and also boast the independently bottled whisky range named MacKillop’s Choice. Montgomerie’s is also an independent bottling available from Angus Dundee which s single cask whisky from mainly Scottish distilleries. The whisky is sourced from the distillery and presented at 46% ABV with no chill filtration and no added colour. These are rare findings of aged single cask whisky. Each bottling s the distillery by enhancing the combination of cask and unique spirit. This Island style single malt whisky was drawn from cask 15019 in February 2015. It was matured for 21 years in a single ex-Bourbon cask and bottled at 46% ABV. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Orchard fruits, salted caramel, slightly floral with sea spray. Palate: Floral and lively, a beautiful fresh malty flavour, digestive biscuits, creamy caramel and some hints of salinity.
