Categories: Bourbon Barrel, Glenrothes Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Sherry Cask
Volume: 700ml ABV: 44.3% Age: No Age Statement Country: Scotland This is it, the second release of the 1992 vintage which we have been waiting for and it does not fail to deliver. It was in 2004 that the first release was brought to us and Malt Master, John Ramsey, decided to keep some casks back as he did not believe they were ready and needed more time to mature. Now 10 years on it’s ready. This second edition is unchill-filtered and aged in Sherry Butts and American Hogsheads, it is different in style to the first edition in many ways. Our Tasting Notes Nose: The nose is one of my favourite ever. It gives me lychee and vanilla which is an exceptional combination. The nose also has fruity characteristics and a little spice. Palate: There is a medium sweetness which compliments the vanilla and a creamy coconut and citrus mix. Finish: This whisky is long and gives a touch of spice with plenty of fruity characteristics.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
