Glenlossie 1993 24 Years Old Single Cask Scotch Whisky – Cadenhead (700ml) Volume: 700ml ABV: 53.6% Age: 24 Years Country: Scotland Date of Distilling: 1993 Date of Bottling: 2018 Matured In: a Bourbon Hogshead Un-Chillfiltered Formed in 1876 and for years better known as Glenlossie-Glenlivet Distillery Co. This distillery produces 2.7 million litres of malt whisky annually which is mainly used for blends such as Haig Dimple and Haig Gold Label. The distillery is located south of Elgin in the Speyside region which has an abundance of distilleries. Glenlossie as a single malt is generally only found bottled by independent bottlers and most are absolute gems, grab one particularly if you enjoy a fruity, oily, smooth whisky. This single malt whisky was distilled in 1993 at the Glenlossie distillery before being placed in a single ex-Bourbon Hogshead barrel and left to mature for 24 years. In 2018 it was bottled at 53.6% abv as part of the Cadenhead Single Cask Collection. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Bursting with tropical fruits, mainly mangoes, pineapple and peaches with a slight creaminess. Palate: Violet crumble meets, mango yoghurt and pistachio ice cream.
