Over the years of extended maturation, these carefully seasoned casks help create the unique richly sherried style that GlenDronach is famous for. You can expect a spicy, smoky malt with lots of rich full bodied flavours and very smooth. The Glendronach Traditionally Peated is a whisky taking us back in time to when the distillery was founded and peat was used in the kiln to dry the barley. The whisky keeps to the traditional GlenDronach sherried style using ex Pedro Ximénez, ex Oloroso sherry and ex Port casks, bottled up at 48% abv. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Chocolate orange bliss balls, honeycomb, slithered almonds, dark toffee and deep smoked oak. Taste: Dark chocolate infused with orange citrus, golden syrup, butterscotch, creamy and buttery raw cake mix, stewed dark fruits. Finish: Fruits of the forest, smoked oak and toasted barley..
