Edradour Aged 10 Years SFTC Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky – Cask 160 (700ml) Volume: 500ml ABV: 57.7% Age: 10 Years Old Country: Scotland Chill-Filtered?: Un-chillfiltered This Edradour whisky which was matured for 10 years in a single sherry butt number 160 has been bottled straight from the barrel. It was distilled on the 18th of June 2008 and presented at 57.7% cask strength. Official Tasting Notes Nose:Fresh and fruity but with plenty of sherry sweetness. This whisky explodes dark fruits, figs, raisins and prunes. Hazelnuts and dark chocolate, freshly baked sponge with treacle and golden syrup. The wood is evident too, fresh barrel wood shavings and caramelised brown sugar. Palate: Again fruity. Raisins, figs, blackberries, raspberries and lashings of sherry sweetness. Freshly baked Christmas mince pies. Praline chocolates, dark brown sugar caramelised, cinnamon and maple syrup. Add a touch of water and there is dark chocolate and white pepper with plenty of delicious oak. Fig jam and blackberry jam, balsamic vinegar and sticky date pudding.. Finish: Just sooooooo long and delicious. Chocolate and berries, Christmas spices and sherry bursts. Don’t miss this one.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
