They pride themselves on bottling the finest single malt Scotch whisky, blended whisky and blended malt Scotch whisky. Producing artisan single cask whisky from various regions of Scotland as well as bottling rums, gins and Bourbon whiskey. All products are small batch, bottled at cask strength. This single cask single malt whisky was distilled at the Caol Ila distillery before being placed in a Port Octave and left to mature for 7 years. The smaller cask has produced a dry, ashy intense whisky bottled exclusively for Australia by importers Wonderland Drinks. Bottled in March 2022 at 56.9% ABV with only 60 bottles available. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Sweet smells of metallic oxide, slightly silicone like, with a good blend of floral aromas and slightly peppery. Palate: Iodine and smouldering oak, charcoal and garden herbs with summer fruits and peppermint. Finish: Long with summer berries, orchard fruits and sooty smoke.. For adults of legal drinking age.
