A few casks of single malt whisky from a distillery unknown have been married and matured in 2 ex-Sherry casks. This is the first batch (First Venom) from the 6th cask. Bottled at natural cask strength of 56.3% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A single cask release of 398 bottles. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Toasted marshmallows, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Slightly spirity and acidic with a hit of sulphur. Vanilla reveals itself as does some spice. Palate: Vanilla, chocolate orange, some tropical fruits and toasted almonds. Date and figs combine with spice. Finish: Long and satisfying spirit. Perfect ‘home from work’ dram.  .
