Ballechin 2007 SFTC Aged 11 Years Bordeaux Cask Matured Single Malt Scotch Whisky (500ml) Volume: 500ml ABV: 58.9% Age: 11 Years Old Country: Scotland Ballechin is produced at the Edradour distillery. The name Ballechin originates from a fellow Perthshire farm distillery, which sadly closed its doors in 1927. There, Alfred Barnard, who catalogued all the distilleries in the UK in the 1880’s, made reference to having d a peated whisky. Ballechin was first produced in 2003 using heavily peated barley which has a peated level of no less than 50ppm Part of the Straight From The Cask range. This bottling was aged for 11 years in a single Bordeaux wine cask. Distilled on the 16th of May 2007 and bottled on the 19th September 2018 from cask number 226.
