The hype starts around 2 weeks prior to the event and limited edition cask strength bottles start to do their rounds of the bars and Ardbeg Embassy’s around the world. On Ardbeg day we get to the smoky tasty goodness that is Ardbeg and realise which friends we share this intriguing taste profile with. This limited edition Ardbeg was released during the Fèis Ìle whisky festival in 2013 and it was aged in a combination of bourbon as well as some Manzanilla sherry casks. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Plenty of wonderful sea saltiness with brine and dark fruits. Citrus, plums and coffee. Palate: Pickled raisins, roasted nuts and maple syrup. Finish: Spice and sherry sweetness.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
