Pernod Ricard acquired the Chivas Brothers brand along with the distillery in 2001. Nearly the entirety of the 4,000,000 litres produced every year at this Speyside Distillery is still used for blending purposes with only small quantities released for Single Malt expressions. Mainly producing a light and fruity style of spirit, occasional peated production =now also occurs. This rare Speyside Whisky from the Rest & Be Thankful range was filled into casks that previously stored American Bourbon, then left to sleep for 21 years. Bottled straight from the cask yielding only 279 bottles. No chill-filtration or colouring. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Citrus and orchard fruits meets toasted oak and rich tea biscuits. Palate: Orange cake, apples and pears, peaches and nectarines, honey sweetness with layers of oak. Finish: Fruity and tart with lemon citrus.    . For adults of legal drinking age.
