They own the Tomintoul and Glencadam distilleries in Scotland and also boast the independently bottled whisky range named MacKillop’s Choice. Montgomerie’s is also an independent bottling available from Angus Dundee which s single cask whisky from mainly Scottish distilleries. The whisky is sourced from the distillery and presented at 46% ABV with no chill filtration and no added colour. These are rare findings of aged single cask whisky. This Highland single malt whisky was drawn from cask 4713 in September 2017. It was matured for 21 years in a single ex-Bourbon cask and bottled at 46% ABV. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Buttery raw biscuit mix, dark fruits and garden herbs with some soft cinnamon spice. Palate: Orchard fruits of apple and pear combine with tropical fruit notes of paw paw, papaya and honeydew melon. Finish: Smooth and balanced on the palate there’s some plump raisins and honey toasted almonds.  . For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
