Tasting Notes: The nose is dominated by fresh red fruits such as cherries and redcurrants. Then aromas of pastries start to emerge. The attack phase is generous and smooth, underlined by a hint of crispness and notes of blackcurrant. The slightly tannic finish combined with the tartness of grapefruit supports the wine’s structure and gives it a nice tension. Winemaking The Brut Rosé cuvée is a blended rosé champagne made from grapes from more than 20 different vintages, representing the main regions of the Champagne vineyards. Composed of 80% Pinot Noir and Meunier, the 20% Chardonnay gives it the touch of crispness and elegance essential for a rosé champagne that is any occasion. The 12% of still red added to the final blend comes from the Pinot Noir grapes harvested mainly in Loches and Les Riceys in the Aube region. They give the Brut Rosé cuvée its elegant colour and intense voluptuous mouthfeel.
