2005 Foursquare Distillery 13 Years Old Cask Strength Rum – Leith Stillroom (700ml) Volume: 700ml ABV: 63.3% Age: 13 Years Old Country: Scotland Foursquare Rum Distillery is located on a former sugar plantation that dates back to approximately 1720, within the tiny Caribbean island of Barbados. The distillery was re-opened by the Seale family in 1996, distilling operations and blending are currently directed by Richard Seale, 4th Generation Trader/Distiller of R.L. Seale & Co. Distilled and matured in Barbados this cask strength rum has been bottled by Leith Stillroom. Distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2019 with no chill filtration or colouring and at. a whopping 63.3% ABV. Tasting Notes Nose: Rich and juicy, vanilla, Christmas cake, orchard fruits of apple and hints of espresso and dark toffee. Palate: Oily and buttery, with toasted oak, roasted coffee beans, toasted sultanas and raisins, treacle toffee and rich oak. Finish: Soft smoke and dark toffee keep this one alive for a while. .
