With help from their Master Distiller Dave Pickerell they purchase stock of 10 year old blending Whiskey in Canada that was being misused. With this whisky they started to unlock the potential of the local lands and years of knowledge. WhistlePig today produces Rye whiskey of the highest standard and continues to grow its reputation as one of the most sought after Rye whiskey brands in the world. FarmStock Rye Crop No. 003 is the third release of Whistlepig’s limited edition annual Triple Terroir Whiskey. Created from their very own rye grain, distilled and proofed with local water, and aged in custom Vermont White oak. This year’s release is a historical step for the distillery, it’s the first ever majority WhistlePig Whiskey. Comprised of 52% of our 3-year-old Rye Whiskey, blended with 31% 6-year aged whiskey and 17% 10 year aged whiskey from Alberta, Canada. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Punchy maraschino, toasted nuts and tobacco. Palate: Toffee sweetness combines with hone baking spices and creamy vanilla with very well integrated oak and some floral notes.
