He is the first Japanese who mastered whisky-making in Scotland and produced the genuine whisky in Japan. Masataka learned that the natural resources surrounding a distillery were essential for quality whisky. Based on his thought, he selected two places, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, and built two distilleries there. In 2015 this blended whisky from Nikka was voted Best Blended Malt Whisky at the World Whisky Awards. Since then it has been hard to find and the value of the bottle keeps increasing as stocks get lower. Nikka have officially announced that it is now a discontinued product. It is a full-bodied vatted whisky full of truly exceptional depth, balance and flavour. A combination of single malt whiskies from Yoichi and Miyagikyo, both owned by Nikka. Please again note that this is not supplied with a gift or presentation box. The bottle will be supplied only. Finish: The malty notes carry on through with well balanced oak and delicate sweetness. . For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
