Categories: Bourbon Barrel, Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Peat Smoke
Volume: 700ml ABV: 48% Age: 8 Years Old Country: Scotland As part of Lagavulin’s 200th anniversary celebrations, the distillery have decided to recreate an 8 year old! It’s bottled at 48% abv and was matured in refill European and American oak casks. This whisky has the quality of the 16 years old however it is much bolder and holds more peat. Great value anniversary bottling. Official Tasting Notes Palate: Light in texture, with a magnificently full-on Lagavulin taste that’s even bigger than you may expect; sweet, smoky and warming, with a growing, smoky pungency, then dry, with more smoke. Finish: Lovely: clean, very long and smoky. This is a polished and exquisitely crafted celebration of Lagavulin with smoky-clean aromas and a mighty taste.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
