Bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.6%, the new Christmas release is proudly without colouring or chill-filtration, in line with the Douglas Laing family philosophy to bottle “as natural as it gets”. – True to the family firm’s “Brand Innovators of the Year 2016” accolade, no attention to detail was spared in creating the packaging for this special release. A bespoke, vibrant illustration shows Big Peat by the fireside of his cosy Islay home, with 9 Christmas stockings hanging from his fireplace, representing the 9 Single Malt Scotch Whiskies included in this special, one-off Big Peat Christmas recipe.
