This single malt has been matured in both bourbon and sherry casks for 14 years and then aged for a further year in specially selected Spanish Oloroso casks to achieve a unique finish. This process gives more depth of character and adds complexity to the whisky. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Sweet but soft. floral and toasted pine nuts, freshly cut grass, Hints of toffee, vanilla, burnt orange peel and sherry soaked raisins. Palate: Sugar almonds, citrus, plenty on oak and sherry. Peppery spice and grapefruit. Finish: More sherry, some butterscotch, peppery spice again and a little mint freshness.  .
