Taken from an undisclosed distillery in Speyside it has been matured in two Spanish oak 1st fill ex-sherry casks. Boasting an abv of 58.4% and only 541 bottles have been produced, your being warned you’re going to need two bottles of this one just for you. This ten-year-old cask was sourced from a whisky broker who had purchased the cask with the intention of using it in a blend. Under the conditions of the original sale, this was not allowed to be released as a single malt. The cask has found its way to lauded independent bottlers Adelphi who have released it under their ‘A Breath Of…” series. Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2017, un-chillfiltered and at natural colour. Official Tasting Notes Nose: Dark chocolate and freshly baked cookies. Turkish delight and instant coffee with drizzles of buttery caramel and creamy toffee. Palate: Toffee eclairs meets sweet summer fruits and dried mango. Finish: Rich, long and elegant.  .
