The Bushmills 16 years old is initially matured in American Oak ex-Bourbon barrels and Spanish ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. This matured whisky is then transferred to old Port casks for the last few months of the 16 years maturation. Delivering vanilla, rich fruit and nuts as well as sweet berry and hints of ruby red. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Fresh and fruity, bread and butter pudding, tropical fruits of pineapple and melon, blueberries and plums.
