Their spirit has been distilled and left to settle in these casks which cost five times as much as American oak ex-bourbon equivalents. There’s no finishing and no distraction of other cask influences, it’s all about the first-fill Sherry cask and the Glenrothes spirit. As far as we are led top believe these are the final bottles of this expression from the distillery and once they have gone we will not see them on our shores again. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Cheesecake shortbread base, ginger nut biscuits, Christmas fruit cake, Black Forest gateau, oak notes and hints of vanilla. Palate: Candied orange zest, orange infused creme brulee,  sultanas and raisins, some dark chocolate. Balanced spice and oaky. Finish: Long luscious and memorable. A little more orange peel, some dark chocolate and some cinnamon and nutmeg appear right at the end.    . For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
