Now discontinued, however we have a small amount in stock which will not last long. The Manse is the house of the Minister of the Church and so forms the bedrock of the local community. Now called Rothes House, it sits at the top of the hill on Manse Brae, overlooking the town and the Glenrothes distillery below. It is home to the eighth generation of the family that founded the Glenrothes business. This continuity and constancy is embodied in the Manse Reserve. Soft yet rich, this whisky has been largely matured in American Oak casks with the influence of some Sherry Oak also evident. Approachable and accessible, it typifies, the elegant sophistication of the spiritual home of The Glenrothes. Official Tasting Notes Nose: Autumn orchard, custard cream biscuits, fleeting but recurrent floral notes. Palate: Fresh, uplifting, bottled pears, soft alluring spices Finish: Medium length.
