It was silent for two years from 1934 and was rebuilt in 1959. This Scapa 2005 has been matured in refill ex-bourbon barrels and bottled by independent bottler Gorodon & Macphail in 2017. Given a retro style label and released in limited numbers. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Floral and clean, fresh vegetation. Slightly smoky with vanilla sweetness. Taste: Lightly fruity with citrus and tropical fruits, cracked black pepper spice and a little ashy. Finish: Wonderful mouthfeel, chocolatey, fruity and herbal.. For adults of legal drinking age.
