Springbank Local Barley Aged 9 Years Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) Volume: 700ml ABV: 57.7% Age: 9 Years Old Country: Scotland The fourth release in the series of Local Barley releases from Springbank. This release being the youngest yet. Using less traditional barley this whisky has been given a treat by being mashed and distilled using Optic Barley allowing this whisky to be amazingly tasty and bursting with flavour. Look past the price versus age statement and you’ll have scored yourself a simply great whisky. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Bonfire smoke combines with honey sweetness then there’s some wonderful zesty citrus notes coming through. Grapefruit and lemon. Salty sea air and raw sponge mix. Palate: Big and oily, grapefruits stands out as does the peat smoke and now some lime. Slightly minty. Finish: The citrus keeps going and combines with the smoke well. Lots of fruits and salty sea air.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
