Auchentoshan Three Wood Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) Volume: 700ml ABV: 43% Age: No Age Statement Country: Scotland The Auchentoshan Distillery was first established in 1823 and is situated on the outskirts of Glasgow in Clydebank. The distillery sits on the Lowlands whisky region of Scotland and boats as being ‘the breakfast whisky’ of the industry. This is due to its sweet and delicate flavours. The word Auchentoshan is taken from the Gaelic word Achadh an Oisein meaning “corner of the field”. The distillery is known for its triple distillation methods which are usually used in Ireland to make whiskey. This award-winning Auchentoshan has been matured in three different cask types. From American Bourbon to Spanish Oloroso Sherry and finally Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. Producing a rich, complex whisky with toffee and sherry flavours. Three Wood makes a cracking Auchentoshan & Ale, a mean Old Fashioned and a damn fine dram. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Stewed dark fruits, rum soaked raisins, dark toffee and a hint of summer fruits. Taste: Plenty of sherried fruits combine with dark cherries, dark chocolate and summer berries. Finish: Dark toffee, toasted oak and spices.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
