Bunnahabhain 2004 Aged 16 Years Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky – Càrn Mòr Celebration Of The Cask (700ml) Volume: 700 ml ABV: 55.5% Age: 16 Years Old Country: Scotland Cask Number: 3653 Date of Distilling: 08/12/2004 Date of Bottling: 08/03/2021 Matured In: Sherry Butt Càrn Mòr is an independent bottling label produced by the family owned and operated Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. Morrisons own the Aberargie distillery in Perth, Scotland which is now 3 years old (January 2021). The company was originally started by an ex employee of the independent bottling company Scottish Liqueur Centre when in 2008 he gathered a group of whisky enthusiasts and began bottling and selling whisky. The Gaelic name Càrn Mòr is given to the ninth highest mountain in Scotland which sits on the Northwest Highlands. The English translation is Great Peak. Released as part of the Celebration Of The Cask range this Bunnahabhain was distilled in 2004 and sat maturing in an ex Sherry butt for no less than 16 years . It was bottled by Càrn Mòr in 2021 with only 534 bottles being produced at an ABV of 55.5%. Our Tasting Notes Nose: Rich dark chocolate, espresso, orange oil, dry Sherry and dark fruits. Palate: Sticky toffee pudding, stewed dates and honey soaked raisins, Terrys’ Chocolate orange and bitter sweet chocolate. Finish: Salted dark toffee, Christmas cake spices, chocolate covered coffee beans and rich oak.. For adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
